I Love how funny Jen is! She has never disappointed me in her many memoirs and luckily, this one was no different.

We’ll publish them on our site once we’ve reviewed them. Not just because I somewhat identify, but because I’m always entertained by her. While it wasn’t in this book, the blog post about the ambien fueled Twitter war was one of the best ever. No, cancel Yes, report it Thanks!

I actually went out and bought this book since I library doesn’t carry it and there was a hold of about 40 people for the overall central system. Autobiography of a Fat Bride. However, longtime fans may wonder if they have anything in common with their old friend anymore—particularly during the chapter in which she describes her hunt for the perfect vintage bowling trophy—and new readers may occasionally feel like they are eavesdropping neneration an obnoxious person braying into her cell phone.


But the moment said people find the means, and gumption to get out of the ditch, we are all too eager and jealous to be inspired and instead tear them down saying things like “how can we connect with the author when she has maids?

I couldn’t get into My Fair Lazy and I didn’t attempt the fiction book she did last year maybe that’s next. It takes talent to take the most menial, mediocre of days food shopping, for example and turn it into an enchanting, funny anectode that keeps you reading EVERY word! Here I Go Again. Not everything hangs together, and not everything is chronologically linear, and that’s okay.

She even goes so far to describe a moment where she is thinking “do you know who I am? While I adore Lancaster’s wit, she’s not for everyone. Always Something There to Remind Me. I don’t watch them on TV and most certainly don’t want them in a book. I’m so glad I borrowed this book from the library. At first I had difficulty with it.

Jeneration X, while not as strong of a total theme as compared to her other novels in my opinionis witty, funny and gives you lessons and sometimes even deep thoughts that give you pause to think.

I read Bitter is the New Black years ago and was entertained. This is Jen Lancaster’s fifth memoir. I had hoped the book would provide hilarious actual wisdom into adult life. That may have been only because she spoke of her upcoming jeneraion 2 years before that sucker was even published or probably written.

This book focuses on her attempts to become an adult, at 42ish years old, and jeneragion and fails along the way. Again, these are funny books, so you need to take them just as that. I laughed out loud through this book more than I have jenerqtion any of her others, but as someone in her twenties, some of the “life lessons” are still a little out of my reach.
